When the Go Bush 4WD club was formed, the first committee decided in the interests of maximum personal comfort for both adults and children, we would form as a Non-Smoking Club. This does not mean that smokers can't join, however, smokers are required to refrain from smoking on all club trips and events. We hope that we can encourage people to "Quit", and in fact a number of our members have successfully given up smoking. We feel that our children should not be subjected to other peoples cigarette smoke, nor to the site of people smoking, which can send the wrong message. Please be aware if you are a smoker and you light up on a trip, you may be asked to BUTT OUT as the saying goes.

If you absolutely must smoke, then do so away from the general populous, out of sight and smelling range. Littering of cigarette buts will not be tolerated. We have at least 1 member who is registered as a litter reporter with the Keep Australia Beautiful Council, who can issue fines for littering!

The club has a no smoking policy at all events, meetings and gatherings.
