Jun	Sun 20th May	South East of Armadale Exploring the area southeast of Armadale. Not sure what's the condition of the track. Using my GPS for the 1st time. Expecting rock, mud and sand - no idea. Bring some lunch and snack. Meeting at Thornlie Tavern's carpark (next to Eagle Boy) along Spencer Road. 9.30am Sunday. Difficulty: ***     Endurance: *    Trip leader: Red	Red, Kelvin (visitor)
Jun	Fri 1st - Mon 4th	Foundation Day Public Holiday (Mon 4th) Aurora and Helena Ranges 3 and a half day trips to explore historic parts of the goldfields. We will be changing campsites every night, suitable for Camper trailers. It should be fun, slightly different way to what TC has done on the previous 2 trips up that way. The first night Friday we will be camping just north of Merridan at lake brown, then on Saturday taking a look at Elachbutting rock it has a rock formation walkway called Monty’s Pass and whispering wall cave. Then from there onto the Aurora Range where we will be camping on the Saturday  night on the top of the range, then Sunday exlor some old mines then onto ballargi Rock which is our campsite on Sunday night. I am sure we will find plenty to explore along the way. You must be fully self suficicent with all food, water and fuel. Maximum of 2 visitors. Aug	Fri 24th - Sun 26th (Sun is Fathers Day)	North of Cataby I am leading a trip up to a farm about 80 ks north of Cataby. It is a great family weekend. They have a wild flower tour on Saturday & a sheep demo on Sunday. I will get all the prices soon. But from memory it was not expensive. All fire wood is supplied and brings your camp oven as we will be cooking up a few different things. Meeting 6:30PM at 10th light Horse trail, about 3K's north of Wanneroo, on Wanneroo road. Nov	Sat 24 - Sun 25th	Club Christmas Party- Dwellingup It's on again, as usual, in the last weekend of November... our annual Christmas Party down at Dwellingup. Camping at Nanga Mill campground. Bring munchies, food, booze, bathers, kayaks etc. Skip will bring a genset and the club's party lights. Bring a small gift for your kids, so that they can be put into Santa's sack. Hopefully mudslide may be able to bring his tug-of-war rope, and other games. Feel free to make you own way down, but if you want to go down in convoy, then I am sure we can organise a convoy. Dec	Thu 27 - Wed 2nd Jan	Down South somewhere. Looking for expressions of interest to head down south for some camping and swimming after Christmas, and to see the new year in. Where shall we go in 2012? This will be a camper trailer friendly / family friendly trip. Leaving the day after Boxing day, and will be away for a week. Drop me an email with your ideas.
